I grew up in Windsor (Assumption High School), but I spent almost a decade in London, where I met my husband while competing for the UWO swim team. At UWO, I received the degrees of HBSc in Pharmacology and Toxicology and Doctor of Medicine. After a rotating internship at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto, I worked there as an Emergency Room Physician. Over the years, I have worked in many Emergency Rooms, Urgent Care Centres and Family Practices in Ontario and abroad. Palladium Medical Clinic is the culmination of all of these experiences, and I am proud to be a part of our friendly team of dedicated and hard-working doctors and staff, who aim to make patient care our top priority.
I have always wanted to be a doctor and I take pride in being an energetic, well-rounded physician who truly enjoys caring for her patients. My mother is a nurse, my father and 2 sisters are physicians, and 2 sisters are in related health care professions. Medicine finds its way into every Warwaruk family conversation.
On a personal note, my time away from work involves my family, many friends, sports activities and travel. I am thankful for my wonderful husband and two lovely children. I am the founder, the Captain and a paddler for the Draggin’ Docs, a Dragon Boat team of 26 female physicians who are the top fund-raisers in the Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival. I am a Director on the Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival and Foundation Board. I also enjoy public speaking to sailing clubs and other groups about my circumnavigation and sailing adventures.
